Slight spoilers for Resident Evil Requiem

Want some Grace tips to survive in Resident Evil Requiem? Fret not, I'm here to help.

After playing RE Requiem for dozens of hours leading up to its launch (check out my review if you're interested), I've come up with some tips that will make your life much easier while rummaging around the Rhodes Hill Care Center.

Beware, slight spoilers ahead. With that out of the way, let's begin.

Be Mindful Of Your Resources

Grace doesn't have a massive inventory, and resources are scarce. Once you get the ability to combine things such as Scrap and get access to the Blood Collector, your first instinct might be to craft the cheapest and easiest things you can, such as ammo. Don't.

Assess the situation; even if you're low on ammo, don't craft more if you don't really need them. You might be able to acquire loot to create other, more valuable tools later on, like a Hemolytic Injector, for instance.

Prioritize Upgrading The Blood Collector

One of Grace's most important items is the blood collector, which allows you to craft a plethora of items that will aid you while exploring the Rhodes Hill Care Center.

At the parlor, you can get a neat upgrade that will let you carry an extra 50 blood. It is the most expensive item, requiring six Antique Coins, and for good reason. Not only does it make your collector more efficient, but it will also allow you to craft things like Steroids (max HP) or Stabilizers (more damage).

Pick Your Fights Early On

You can technically kill every zombie as Grace during the care center; however, that will require a ton of patience and optimization of resources you might not be able to pull off early on.

My recommendation is that you identify early which ones you want to take care of, besides those required to progress the story. Taking down the Chunk will net you a unique Charm, and killing the chef will get you the pantry key, for example.

Plan Your Routes, Don't Rely On Ink Ribbons

I know saving gives you a nice sense of relief in Resident Evil, but abusing it with Grace might make things harder if you're playing on Classic - Normal difficulty. You'll be spending too much if your precious blood crafting Ink Ribbons, so you'll end up coming short when you need to craft those extra bullets or an injector.

My final recommendation is that you plan, follow a simple route that won't get you into much trouble: maybe you want to pick up a herb you left behind, maybe you want to progress the story, keep tabs on zombies you haven't eliminated, and be wary of the bigger ones who change patterns constantly.
