Having hit early access back in May 2024, PC players already got a taste of what’s to come with 1.0 on September 25. Is Hades 2 Coming To PS5?
No, at the time of writing, Hades 2 won’t be coming to PS5 in 2025. That being said, Supergiant Games has constantly reiterated that they intend to bring Hades 2 to all modern platforms, so a PlayStation port is basically guaranteed.
Let’s use the first Hades to put things into perspective. 1.0 for the first game hit digital storefronts in September 2020, launching on PC and Nintendo Switch. Almost a year later, in August 2021, it finally arrived on Xbox Series, Xbox One, PS4, and PS5. iOS users also got the game, with a mobile port launching in 2024.
If we use a similar timeframe, Xbox and PlayStation users could potentially get Hades 2 around August 2026.
So, while you won’t be getting Hades 2 on PS5 during the 1.0 launch period, you can definitely expect the godlike roguelike to hit Sony’s platform next year.
