The latest Dispatch episodes featured a ton of impactful moments, with a major story beat arriving towards the end of episode 6, starring Chase, the hero formerly known as Track Star.

If you're reading this, I assume you're all caught up with the story, but just to be absolutely clear: big SPOILERS coming ahead for Dispatch Episode 6.

Does Chase Die in Dispatch?

The fate of Chase in Dispatch is still unknown. The ending of Chapter 6 does heavily imply that the former Track Star might have pulled off his last act of heroism.

Towards the end of the episode, Invisigal gets herself into big trouble as she's trying to recover Robert's Astral Pulse, running into the nefarious Shroud in the process. Shroud gets the jump on her and throws a smoke bomb while he kicks Visi's inhaler, torturing her by constantly kicking out of her reach while she's crawling towards it.

Chase, who was still hanging around Robert's apartment following a belated house welcome party, decides to use his super speed once again to reach Invisigal on time, saving her from a certain demise.

The final seconds of the episode see Chase fall to the ground while Invisigal calls for help, with Robert desperately scrambling to find his car keys so he can reach them both.

Chase has been very critical of Invisigal throughout the game, and seeing him pull off what could be his final superhero display as Track Star to ultimately save her life would be bittersweet for the character to say goodbye.

That being said, though, we still don't know for sure what's going to happen in the final two Dispatch episodes, set to release on November 12. There are plenty of theories floating around, which makes for fun conversation.
