  • Quick Answer: Leaked GTA 6 footage from CyberLeek reveals a five-county Leonida map, six-star wanted system, context-sensitive NPC interactions, vehicle refueling, and weapon loadout mechanics.

Over the past week, the internet has been flooded with a collection of brand-new GTA 6 leaks from CyberLeek. The unidentified person or group is said to have access to a full, playable build of the game and continues to release footage in protest of Rockstar's decision to go all digital for VI.

While Rockstar or Take-Two have yet to publicly comment on the leaks, several DMCA takedown requests have been filed, all but confirming that the leaks are indeed real. While we won't be sharing images or footage here, there are plenty of details to unpack that hint at what we can expect when GTA 6 drops in November.

Here's everything that's been leaked so far!

Map of Leonida

CyberLeek has supposedly shared the entire map of Grand Theft Auto 6. In previous months, fans tried to make their own map layouts based on details from trailers and locations revealed by Rockstar Games. However, the map CyberLeek shared is the most substantial look yet at what we can expect.

According to the leak, Leonida comprises five counties: Vice Dale, Mariana, Kelly, Leonard, and Lummox. Zooming into the map revealed different sections and details on the attractions, biomes, and environments. As mentioned in our location guide, Leonida features many key POI's, and that is reflected in the map.

Basketball Gameplay

One clip shows co-protagonist Jason Duval throwing a basketball into a hoop repeatedly.

It's not the most invigorating gameplay, but it gives players a look into the physics and how they will work. It also showcases how the ball dribbles and bounces near a body of water close by, while a Focus bonus for scoring can also be spotted.

Jason Combat & Item Looting

Another leak showcased Jason fighting several security guards. When their taser falls to the ground, Jason takes the taser and uses it on a guard. He even takes their cap for himself. The option to pick up and loot from bodies was also briefly seen.

Jason is then seen stealing a truck and driving away with it. Afterward, a pop-up reveals that the crime was reported, indicating that you can have lingering wanted levels and that police will keep an eye out for you when criminal activity is witnessed.

Wanted System

While many of the previous GTA games featured a five-star wanted level, leaks suggest that VI will have a six-star wanted system. Three icons were seen below the wanted level: a clothes hanger, a face, and a vehicle. This could indicate that police can identify you based on clothing, appearance, and the vehicle you are driving.

If true, it would make hiding from authorities even more difficult - you may need to carjack a vehicle and change your clothes to distract those tracking you. Police also seem to search specific areas on the map when searching for you.

Loadout & Storage Mechanics

During another snippet, Jason is seen beating a man to death. As he returns to his car, two pop-ups appear once he reaches the back of the vehicle: Loadout and Storage.

This appears to confirm that GTA 6 will feature a more limited loadout system rather than being able to carry every weapon at all times. We also get glimpses of the traditional weapon wheel, although Jason can only use the weapons and items he physically has on him at that time, and not those stored in his vehicle.

Healing Items

One clip showcases a healing drug called Zombix. While details about the item are minimal, the tooltip indicates that the drug's effects will weaken over time if used too much.

Plane Flying

A video of Jason flying a plane over Vice City was shared online. The clip showcases the map's huge open world. At the end, CyberLeek shoots the words "LEEK" onto a wall with bullets, likely to prove that they own a playable build of GTA 6.

Carjacking

In one leak, Jason is seen carjacking a vehicle. He attempts to open the door from the outside before breaking the window and opening the car from the inside. Jason then forcibly pulls the driver out of the car and steals the vehicle. Before he smashes the window, an option to clone the key is greyed out.

Another video shows Jason driving to a gas station and stealing a pick-up truck from a conspiracy theorist.

NPC Interactions

In some of the leaked footage, Jason is given the option to Defuse or Warn a driver before fighting them. This indicates that the dialogue choices you receive in GTA 6 are context-sensitive and change depending on what's happening.

NPCs also have more realistic reactions to their surroundings.

Vehicle Refueling & Repairs

In a clip where Jason visits the Strip Club, he makes a stop at a gas station. There, two HUD icons appear that allude to fuel levels and vehicle damage. Players will have to refuel their vehicles and repair any damage at gas stations.

It's unknown if there will be mechanics that work on more intricate damage, or if they are reserved for customization only.

Additional Leaks

Here are some other minor leaks that were revealed by CyberLeek in recent days:

  • Character attribute system
  • Two ways of holding cash - on your person and in the safehouse
  • GTA 6 currency
  • Can swim and dive underwater
  • Cinematic camera
  • On-demand radio
  • Character can rob stores and steal from cash registers
  • More dynamic car crashes, slow-mo for major collisions
