After Rockstar confirmed a May 2026 release for GTA 6 only months ago, fresh leaks have fans worried about further delays.
According to leaker Millie A, known for both hits and misses, internal discussions at Rockstar suggest GTA 6 could be delayed past spring.
Assuming her claims are correct, a second delay might quietly happen, moving the release to September 2026.
While Rockstar hasn’t made any official announcements about another delay, it’s worth noting that this kind of last-minute shift wouldn’t be out of character for the studio, especially with a game of this size.
What’s the Deal With the Expensive Editions?
The more controversial part of this leak, however, has less to do with timing and more to do with pricing.
According to Millie A’s post, GTA 6 is expected to launch with three distinct editions: Standard, Deluxe, and Premium.
These differences are not just cosmetic because the higher-tier editions may give paid early access to GTA Online, which many expect to be a major draw.
In the UK, the reported prices are £69.99 for Standard, £89.99 for Deluxe, and £109.99 for Premium.
When converted to USD, those could sit somewhere between $70 to $110 depending on region and taxes.
While Rockstar previously used tiered pre-order bundles for Red Dead Redemption 2, the plan to charge extra for early online features is raising questions.
Is GTA Online Releasing With the Base Game?
A key thing to keep in mind is whether the online mode will be ready at launch, since many believe Rockstar might delay GTA Online for weeks or months to let players focus on the single-player story.

This is similar to how Red Dead Online was released independently of Red Dead Redemption 2.
If confirmed, paying for early access might mean entering a mode that is still under development, which brings up questions about whether this is early access or a paid waiting time.
The community’s reaction is all over the place, with some people already budgeting for the Deluxe or Premium editions, especially if those versions come with extra content or early Online access.
Others are skeptical, calling this a clever way to inflate game sales without outright raising the base price.
There’s also debate over whether these rumors can be trusted at all—while Millie A has nailed leaks before, she's also been wrong, with some of her followers labeling her a “trust-me-bro” source due to past misfires.
Millie A also hinted that PS5 and PS5 Pro bundles will launch with the game, suggesting Rockstar may have a PlayStation marketing deal and is working with Sony again, like with GTA V’s expanded editions.
While this hasn’t been confirmed either, it wouldn’t be surprising given the history between the two companies.
