The Han 86 is the first assault rifle you unlock in the game, and it features solid attachments that make it a worthwhile time investment throughout your MW4 grind. It’s been my go-to AR, and I don’t see that changing anytime soon.

This is my recommended setup for the Han 86 loadout in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4:
- Muzzle: FTAC Dominion
- Barrel: SA K556 16’’
- Optic: ZLR Type C
- Stock: FR4 Retractable Stock
- Rear Grip: FTAC Griplord 80
Han 86 Apex Attachment in MW4
The Han 86 Apex attachment does the following. Do note Apex attachments don't take a slot so they can be equipped alongside the rest of the loadout:
- Han X20 Skybreaker: Equips the rifle with advanced optics and an airburst grenade launcher.
This build is optimized for mid-range combat, prioritizing fast ADS (aim-down-sight) speed, great recoil control for precision at longer distances, and high mobility so you don’t get caught off guard by aggressive SMG users.
The rear grip is perfect for long-range firefights, providing added flinch resistance to help you win head-to-head gunfights. You can opt to run iron sights if you don't need an optic, but if you prefer a sight, I suggest a clean precision optic or a 2.1x magnification scope at most.
If you skip the optic, you can swap it for an ADS-boosting laser like the XRK Clutch-LS or an attachment that improves hip-fire recoil control like the Pulse-MW Laser.
