Rockstar Games recently dropped the launch trailer for GTA 6.

The nearly 2-minute video was jam-packed with action, shots of Vice City, and snippets of the many characters we'll meet in Vice City. Though the video was short, there are plenty of new things we learned from the trailer - and it's only making me more excited for November 19.

Here's some new info we uncovered from the GTA 6 launch trailer.

Jason's Messy Departure From the Military

Previously, it was revealed that Jason had a stint in the army. However, the trailer revealed that he "got into some trouble" while he was enlisted and didn't leave on the best of terms. While he didn't go into detail about what transpired, he mentioned that "They don't give loans, or anything, to people like me."

It's unconfirmed, but Jason was likely dishonorably discharged from the Army due to a major crime. People who have been dishonorably discharged aren't considered veterans, so they lose every benefit a veteran could have - which includes VA home loans.

Jason's Military Base

Speaking of Jason's Army experience, we likely got a hint on where Jason was stationed.

A man and a woman are leaning against a red car in a setting that suggests an outdoor area with containers in the background and a highway in the distance. The man has long hair and is wearing a U.S. Army shirt, while the woman is dressed in a short skirt and a jacket, looking contemplative.

During a scene with both Jason and Lucia, Jason's shirt reads "U.S. Army Marauder Combat Training School, North Fort Law." North Fort Law is a military base featured in the original Grand Theft Auto Game and was located in the Fort Law district of New Guernsey, which is based on New Jersey. This could also hint that Jason, like Lucia, isn't a Leonida native.

New Location Revealed

At the start of the trailer, we see a shot of Brian's Marina. This is likely one of the properties of Brian Heder and where Jason lives at the start of the game.

Previously, it was revealed that Jason lives rent-free in one of Brian's properties. In exchange, Jason helps Brian with local shakedowns and stops by for his wife Lori's sangria once in a while. Brian is a drug runner, and Jason helps him smuggle substances in the Keys.

New Song from GTA 6 - The Album

The trailer brought us a brand-new, never-before-heard song. The song is titled "Flower in a Hurricane" by Justice feat. Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. The song was not revealed during Rockstar's initial announcement of The Album. Additionally, none of the artists had teased their collaboration with GTA 6 on social media.

The song will be available on Grand Theft Auto 6: The Album and is officially on streaming platforms as of this writing.

Lucia Isn't Fully Free

During a quick shower scene in the trailer, it's noted that Lucia is wearing an ankle monitor. This is something that has been teased in some screenshots and official art.

We know that when the game starts, Lucia was incarcerated in Leonida Penitentiary and was released due to "sheer luck." However, it seems that she isn't 100% free - she is likely still on parole or under post-conviction supervision. It's unknown how this affects gameplay, but it will likely impact how far Lucia can go.

Dog Customization

If you blinked, you probably missed how the new trailer features a dog wearing a colorful outfit.

It's highly likely that not only will Jason and Lucia be able to have pets, but we'll be able to dress them up too! Dogs (and maybe even cats) could be accessorized in different clothing and accessories. Previously, it was revealed that you could pet animals in GTA 6.

Jason and Lucia's Romance

While it's been confirmed that romance between Lucia and Jason is optional, the launch trailer gave us a better look at what their romantic relationship would look like.

Besides the scenes of them driving together, we were treated to a steamy shower scene between the two. The trailer also features a scene with the two on a balcony, wrapped in each other's arms. It seems that while you don't have to have them date, there are definitely some sweet moments if you do!
