Who is Lucia Caminos?

Lucia is the co-lead of GTA 6, and she makes history as the franchise's first fully voiced, female protagonist.

She and Jason Duval lead the crime-filled narrative with a unique Bonnie-and-Clyde-like relationship. Not only that, but she is ambitious, sharp, and determined to turn her life around for the better (even if the methods are shady).

Backstory & Lore

According to the Rockstar Games website, Lucia's father taught her to fight “as soon as she could walk.” A life of fighting for her family ultimately landed her in Leonida Penitentiary. In a stroke of luck, she was able to get out.

From then on, she's learned to act smart and not brash. Fresh out of prison, she dreams of the good life “her mom has dreamed of since their days in Liberty City.”

“A life with Jason could be her way out,” according to the Rockstar site. Regardless, Lucia is determined to do whatever it takes to achieve her dreams.

In-Game Quote

During Trailer 2, Lucia tells Jason, “The only thing that matters is who you know and what you got.” It’s currently her most iconic quote.

Traits

One thing about Lucia is that she knows how to fight. Her father gave her extensive combat training, so she knows how to throw a punch. However, it’s unknown if this includes wielding firearms.

Lucia is an ex-convict. She was recently paroled from Leonida Penitentiary for unknown reasons—though it’s alluded to have something to do with defending her family.

Compared to Jason, she is more impulsive - which could either work in her favor or not.
