When Does Battlefield 6 Season 5 Start?

Then, at 12:00 UTC, Season 5: Siege of Las Vegas content becomes available, with Vegas Strip, Area 51, new weapons, REDSEC updates, and the Season 5 Battle Pass going live.

Exact patch notes for the Season 5 gameplay update are yet to be confirmed, although it will include a range of balance tweaks and general improvements across weapons, classes, vehicles, and anti-air options.

Players will fight through casinos, luxury hotel interiors, crowded streets, and underground storm drains in Vegas Strip, while Area 51 drops you into one of the world's most infamous military installations, where tanks, helicopters, and jets dominate the desert above while fierce infantry fights unfold in a classified underground facility below.

Four new weapons across four different categories offer something unique for all playstyles. The Mk 24 Assault Rifle trades magazine capacity for consistent performance and exceptional damage at range. The RSPR Submachine Gun SMG has the characteristics of a rifle, combining a steady rate of fire with high damage. The Z84M Light Machine Gun is built for close-range aggression, combining a 100-round box magazine with high damage and a high rate of fire. Lastly, the ELR-40 Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle performs best during extreme long-range engagements, featuring the strongest bullet drag performance and the furthest sweet spot in its weapon archetype.
