- Quick Answer: Wardogs is coming to Xbox Series X|S and PS5 in 2028, two years after its early access launch on PC.
Wardogs is finally launching in early access today, allowing PC players to enjoy this all-out warfare shooter after two closed betas and a very short open beta. For those wondering about a console version, Bulkhead has news.
The studio has officially announced that Wardogs is releasing for PlayStation 5 and Xbox... in 2028. That's right, the game is getting ported to console in two years, and the developers are already putting the news out there.

While this is unconventional given how far we are from 2028, it also makes sense that a console port will launch that far off, since the studio will now focus on continuing development until they reach version 1.0.
Bulkhead previously stated that they will prioritise performance, stability, balancing, bug fixes, and the major concerns raised by the community during the early access period.
To celebrate the early access launch, a new launch trailer that pays homage to Halo 3’s iconic ‘Believe’ trailer was released. The trailer shows several frozen frames of a battle and uses the tag "Play Like You Used To."
Wardogs will be available on Steam for $40/40€/£37. This price will only be up during the game's early access period, as the developers are aware this is not the game's finished version. Once update 1.0 eventually comes out, the price is expected to go up to the standard $60 mark.
