It looks like the next few years will be fantastic for Silent Hill fans, as the series continues to gain momentum following the major success of the Silent Hill 2 Remake from Bloober Team and Konami. Recently, Konami and Bloober have once again teamed up to deliver a brand-new Silent Hill experience—one that could rival the modern remake of 2.

Not only that, but a myriad of other Silent Hill projects may be on the horizon, making this an exciting time for fans who have been waiting nearly a decade since the series’ long hiatus. Let’s take a look at what’s coming next.

Project G

The unveiling of Project G was announced just a few weeks ago via a Bloober Team press release, confirming that production has now shifted toward a new Silent Hill game following the success of the Silent Hill 2 Remake. Hardcore fans have known about this project since as far back as 2023, though there was little movement on it until now.

While no official details have been shared, speculation is already running wild. Many believe Project G could be a remake of Silent Hill 1, given that the “G” might stand for “Gillespie”—Alessa’s last name and a key figure in Silent Hill’s mythos.

This theory aligns with the series’ chronological order, as Silent Hill 2 is often considered the best entry point for new players, with Silent Hill 1 and 3 serving as the next logical steps in the story.

Project H

While not explicitly announced by Konami, the next likely Silent Hill title to receive the remake treatment is the rumored Project H. Though there’s no indication that full production is underway—especially with Bloober Team currently focused on Project C (Cronos: The New Dawn) and Project G (Silent Hill 1 Remake?)—the studio is reportedly "planning" its direction.

Fans have already begun speculating that Project H refers to Silent Hill 3, with “H” standing for Heather, the game’s protagonist. If true, this could be one of the most exciting remakes yet, as Silent Hill 3 is widely regarded as a masterpiece of survival horror.

If these remakes continue to be successful, we could even see a Silent Hill 4: The Room remake in the future.

Silent Hill f

Not all future Silent Hill titles will be handled by Bloober Team, but they will still exist within Konami’s twisted horror universe. One of the most intriguing new projects is Silent Hill f, developed by NeoBards Entertainment (known for Resident Evil: Resistance and Resident Evil Re:Verse).

This upcoming entry will introduce an entirely fresh lineup of characters and an original story. What we know so far is that it takes place in 1960s rural Japan, a stark contrast to the series’ usual Western settings. No release date has been announced yet, but the shift in location and tone already makes this an exciting new direction for Silent Hill.

Silent Hill Townfall

If there’s one Silent Hill game I’m personally excited about, it’s Townfall. Developed by No Code Studios (Stories Untold, Observation) and published by Annapurna Interactive, this project remains the most mysterious of the bunch, with few details revealed.

What we do know is that Townfall serves as a spin-off of the Silent Hill mythos, much like Silent Hill: The Short Message. It takes a noticeably different approach from the main series, promising a unique psychological horror experience that lingers long after the credits roll.

Given Annapurna’s track record of publishing indie titles with lasting emotional impact, Townfall could be the perfect way to introduce new fans to Silent Hill while offering something fresh for longtime players.

With all these upcoming projects, it’s impossible not to feel excited about Silent Hill’s future. After years of missteps, Konami finally seems to be getting back on track. Between the Silent Hill revival, the Suikoden HD remasters, and the upcoming Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater Delta Remake, Konami appears determined to reclaim its place in the modern gaming landscape. (Yes, Konami, we still remember P.T.)

Either way, it’s an amazing time to be a Silent Hill fan—and I can’t wait to play them all.
