It finally happened, Capcom fans. The developers revealed Elena Street Fighter 6 gameplay, the fourth and final season 2 character, and she looks absolutely incredible.

Ever since the full lineup for season 2 was revealed last year, long-time Street Fighter fans had very strong reactions to seeing Elena: some are big fans of the character design, while a massive portion hate the Kenyan fighter for being extremely overpowered in Ultra Street Fighter IV.

Street Fighter 6 is best-in-class when it comes to animations, and Elena is no different. In fact, she's very dynamic, with her stylish Capoeira style looking absolutely perfect and incredibly smooth in the RE Engine used by the game.

Some of her classic moves are all part of her kit, including one infamous thing: she has a healing super. For Street Fighter 6, it's her level 2 super, Art Revival Dance.

Oh, it's happening again...

According to Capcom via a Steam blog post: "She launches forward with a flurry of kicks and is invincible to all attacks on start-up. If Elena is feeling a bit drained, she can forego some of the extra damage and use her trademark healing to gain some Vitality."

Old-school fans who weren't happy with her redesigned look for Street Fighter 6 will also be happy to hear her classic and iconic look will make a return as her outfit 2. These outfits can be purchased with Fighter Coins, the game's premium currency, or by leveling the character bond to the max via World Tour.

When Is Elena Coming To Street Fighter 6?

Elena is coming to Street Fighter 6 on June 5. That's right, she'll be released the same day as the Nintendo Switch 2.

That's no coincidence, as Capcom will be launching Street Fighter 6 on the Switch 2 with a version of the game that includes all content, including both season 1 and 2 characters in one package.

Keep in mind SF6 on Switch 2 is a Game-Key Card title. That means you require a separate download before you can start playing it.
