Kena: Scars of Kosmora

Kena: Scars of Kosmora was initially announced to release this year, but we haven't heard any news about it in months. I believe the title will make an appearance at this State of Play, but a delay to 2027 could be among the cards as well.

Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet

Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet was first announced during The Game Awards back in 2024. We haven't heard much about it, but that might change with the upcoming State of Play.

Rumors have started circulating that Naughty Dog will be making an appearance at this State of Play, and it's likely to give us more details on the upcoming sci-fi action game. Maybe a new trailer and a release date? I'm not sure, but I'm definitely hopeful.

Until Dawn 2

Until Dawn 2 is scheduled to release sometime in 2027, so State of Play is the perfect opportunity to share a new update on the highly anticipated horror game.

I definitely think we're due for a new trailer, as well as a concrete release date. Since the game was announced during the June State of Play, I'm guessing Until Dawn 2 may come out in the first half of 2027.

Devil May Cry 6

Devil May Cry 5 came out in 2019 - plenty of time for Capcom to be secretly developing DMC 6 behind the scenes.

Capcom has been on a major roll this year. Pragmata, Resident Evil Requiem, and Onimusha: Way of the Sword have been positively received. I'm sure they would want to continue this momentum, and the best way to do it is by giving fans a glimpse at a new Devil May Cry installment.

Resident Evil Veronica

Resident Evil Veronica was first announced back in June, during the Summer Game Fest. Since then, we haven't heard much about it.

As a prequel to the Like a Dragon franchise, anticipation is high for this game. I think it would be smart for RGG Studio to strike while the iron is hot and reveal new footage during this upcoming State of Play.

Marvel Tokon

Marvel Tokon has been a smashing success, and four new characters are expected to come out as part of a DLC. One of them - Phoenix Cyclops - has already been revealed.
