In recent months, indie games have been making a name for themselves. One of them is R.E.P.O., a game similar to Lethal Company. However, another indie game that seemingly came out of nowhere has players hooked!

Schedule I is a co-op and solo crime simulation game that was just released in Early Access on March 25. In the game, you build your substance empire from scratch in the city of Hyland Point. You can expand with properties, businesses, employees, and a whole lot more.

The indie game skyrocketed as clips of it trended on social media. Within a week of its release, it reached the Top 2 in Steam's Top Sellers chart, overtaking popular games such as Monster Hunter Wilds and inZOI.

Schedule I may be trending because, while it is still in early access, you have a pretty well-made game that contains a lot of gameplay and content. As seen in the game's Steam reviews, it is overwhelmingly positive, which is something many early-access games are unable to achieve. The developers definitely knew how to get the players hooked on their game with a tight gameplay loop that is quite addicting.

The co-op experience is also great as there are various activities that each player can focus on, such as growing the plants, mixing, being the runner, and more. A player can even avoid making and selling substances altogether by picking up trash and selling it, pickpocketing, or gambling.

Not only that, but the graphics are simple, which means that it doesn't require such a powerful PC or laptop to run it.

Schedule I's only been out for a week on Steam, so there are more things to look forward to in the future as the developers release more patches and updates. There's a possibility that mods will be incorporated into the game as well, making it even more fun for players.
