The 2.0.0 update and Bubbly Basin Expansion Pass for Pokemon Pokopia have officially been released. The DLC features a brand new underwater town and a whole new roster of Pokemon - one of those being the beloved Popplio.
Here's how to find the newly added Pokemon.
How to Find Popplio in Pokemon Pokopia
You first meet Popplio in front of Bleak Beach after learning how to dive from Manaphy. Interacting with them triggers the Bubbly Basin quest.
Popplio sees how beautiful the town of Bleak Beach is and asks if you can help fix up his town, which is found at the bottom of the sea. Follow Popplio to their underwater town, located directly behind the Bleak Beach Pokemon Center.
You will be led to the entrance of Bubbly Basin. Use Dive and interact with the gates to open them. Bubbly Basin, much like the other towns in Pokemon Pokopia, requires a little cleanup and new habitats to attract Pokemon.

Do you want to build a habitat for Popplio? Luckily for you, it's pretty simple.
Popplio's habitat is the swaying flower bed. To build it, you just need four Seabed Flowers. This habitat spawns Popplio, but could also spawn Staryu and Stunfisk. If you're aiming to use that area solely for Popplio, you may need to make multiple habitats.
