To find Tinkaton, you'll need to use Glide to fly to a nearby island with a big stack of trash and a tall tower. At the top of the tower, you'll meet the Tinkmaster themselves, and they will be added to your Pokedex.

Talk to them, and you'll discover they've been building the structures around Sparkling Skylands with trash. They'll be willing to help you rebuild the town, but will require Concrete.

To get Concrete, you'll first need to build the Construction-Site Generator Habitat to spawn Conkeldurr, who can make Concrete. While waiting for the habitat to build, collect Limestone around the area. Once Conkeldurr spawns, it will give you the recipe for a Concrete Mixer. Make it, put Limestone in the Mixer, and have Conkeldurr make Concrete.

After giving the Concrete to Tinkmaster, they will ask for an Iron Ingot, which will be used to make Tinkagears. With this brand new material, Tinkmaster will teach you how to make the Lift Platform. Creating the lift will help you progress with the quest.

After making the lift, Tinkmaster will speak with Professor Tangrowth and suggest going towards the huge building in the north of Sparkling Skylands. When you're there, you'll see that the road to the building has collapsed. Either repair the pathway or build a lift to make sure Tinkmaster and Tangrowth can walk with you.

Once you're at the building, Tangrowth and Tinkmaster will have ideas to reconstruct the building, which kickstarts the "Rebuild the Huge Building!" quest. To complete the quest, you need to rebuild all four floors of the Skyland Building, which will take you roughly 4 hours to complete without time traveling. You need to complete this quest to get Tinkmaster to live on your island.

Tinkmaster's ideal habitat is Bright. They like cute stuff, metal stuff, construction, blocky stuff, exercise, and spicy flavors.
