  • Quick Answer: To get Tinkagears, have Tinkmaster process iron ingots (crafted from iron ore via a Smelting Furnace) into gears. You'll find Tinkmaster in Sparkling Skylands.

Tinkagears are important to progress through the storyline of Pokemon Pokopia, but they take some work to get.

In Pokemon Pokopia, you play as a Ditto transformed into a human-like figure. Set in a world where humans have disappeared, the main objective of the game is to rebuild the barren towns, meet new Pokemon, and discover why humans are no more. To do that, you need to gather materials to not only build infrastructure, but to progress through quests.

And one important resource is Tinkagears. Here's how to get them and what they're used for.

How to Get Tinkagears in Pokemon Pokopia

Currently, the only way to get Tinkagears is to ask Tinkmaster to process iron ingots into Tinkagears. One iron ingot will yield three Tinkers.

To get iron ingots, you need to use the Smelting Furnace and enlist the help of a Pokemon with the Burn specialty to turn iron ores into ingots. Iron ore can be obtained by using Rock Smash on metal objects, such as street lamps. You can also give a Pokemon with the Recycle specialty non-burnable garbage, which they will turn into iron ore.
