The time has come, and GTA 6: An Extended Look has dropped on Netflix before rolling out on other platforms. The special featured continuous footage of both gameplay and cinematics from the campaign, giving us our first official look outside the trailers.

With a runtime of 26 minutes, it reveals a lot about the world, the characters, the story, gameplay mechanics, and more. We have compiled all the major revelations for those who haven't had the chance to watch it.

Everything Revealed in GTA 6: An Extended Look

Without further ado, here is the list of major revelations we were able to spot:

  • Yes, you can pet the dog in GTA 6.
  • "Lu" and "Jay" are how Jason and Lucia call each other.
  • Mendéz appears to be one of the story's antagonists.
  • Food and drinks will provide temporary boosts.
  • There are convertible cars, just like in GTA V.
  • The minimap will have 3D structures.
  • Snapmatic will be one of the game's social media platforms.
  • Two new characters: Lori and Bryan. They both know Jason and Lucia and provide jobs for them.
  • You can blow vehicles' tyres.
  • You can hide from the police during car chases in alleys.
  • New activities confirmed: Scuba diving, driving an airboat, playing basketball (just grabbing the ball and playing), gym, jet ski races, kayaking, car racing, BMX racing, firing range, skydiving, fishing, etc.
  • The quick access menu will have two tabs, one for weapons and one for clothing items. Health items will have two separate slots.
  • Valentina from GTA V Online is back in the campaign.
  • Andrés de Leon is a new character that Jason and Lucia will need to protect in a mission.

GTA 6 releases on November 19, 2026, for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. A PC version hasn't been announced at the time of writing, meaning users will have to wait until after the initial release for any news on that.
