What Is Control Resonant About?

Control Resonant follows Dylan Farden, who you might recognize from the first Control game. Dylan is a paranaturally abled "parautilitarian" who has been released from captivity by the Federal Bureau of Control (FBC) to aid in their plans to trap an escaped extradimensional entity that has taken control of downtown Manhattan.

Resonant is an action-roleplaying game. Remedy Entertainment has stated it's an "open-ended game" that allows players to explore Manhattan and complete optional quests. Despite that, Control Resonant is not an open-world game - it's just a game with plenty to do.

Control Resonant places heavy emphasis on melee combat, which differs from how Control focused on third-person shooter elements.
