How Long Will Control Resonant Be?

According to Mohov, the core experience of Control Resonant should be around 30 hours. This means it will be longer than Control (2019), where the main story takes 12 hours to complete.

This isn't too surprising. Control Resonant features immersive RPG elements, numerous weapons, and skill types. Notably, these 30 hours include a Control recap for players who have never played the first game.

The sequel follows Dylan Faden, who escapes confinement in the Oldest House to fight against an invading cosmic resonance across a warped, reality-bending Manhattan while he searches for his missing sister, FBC Director Jesse Faden.

Control Resonant comes out on September 24, 2026, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Although the first game was released for the Switch, Remedy hasn't announced a Switch 2 version for the sequel.
