Less than a month before the game's release, Remedy Entertainment has given fans an update regarding Control Resonant. In fact, they've given two major updates - one good and one not as great.

Control Resonant Physical Edition Delayed
On August 18, Remedy Entertainment took to X to announce that Control Resonant has officially gone gold. However, the physical edition of the game will be delayed to October 15.

Going gold means that Remedy Entertainment has completed principal production on the game, and it's at a state where fans can play it. However, now the polishing phase begins, where the studio has time to fix all the errors they can find and elevate the quality. Despite having reached this phase, the physical versions will not come out on the launch date.

According to the studio, they need "just a little more time to deliver the physical version" to gamers. They didn't state exactly what needed to be worked on, but assured fans that "nothing stays contained forever."
The game will launch on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store. If you're unable to wait until October to play, consider purchasing the digital version instead.
Control Resonant is an action-adventure RPG. A sequel to 2019's Control, the game follows Dylan Faden, a supernaturally-abled parautilitarian who must fight hostile entities while searching for his estranged sister Jesse.
