Several new and additional Battlefield 6 gameplay improvements will arrive in the final phase of season 3. There will be changes to gunplay, making infantry combat feel more consistent and rewarding.

The update enhances the recoil behavior, dispersion, weapon handling, limb-modifier tuning, bullet velocity, drag, and more. Devs are also working on soldier visibility and netcode updates.

Vehicle enhancements will also be added to improve combat flow. Moving forward, Thermal Smoke will be less effective at blocking incoming damage and will no longer remove C4 when activated. RPG damage will also be slightly more effective against tanks and helicopters.

More updates can be expected for IFV weapons, Attack Helicopter rockets, Mobile Anti-Air ammo, and more. Automated Anti-Air behavior is also being updated to shoot down fewer projectile types, and it will no longer retaliate against land vehicles.

The final phase of Season 3 will also see the implementation of some important front-end improvements. A new “Mark All Seen” button will be added, allowing players to quickly clear all markers across menus, including Loadouts and the Battle Pass.

A new Event Menu will also be introduced. This new menu will bring event challenges and rewards together in one place, making it easier to see what’s available, what you can earn, and how to unlock it. The menu will also connect players to relevant Event Modes and Event Store Bundles.

Besides these improvements, new playable content will also be added to the game via the High-Value Target update.

Tactical Obliteration will introduce a smaller, infantry-focused variant of Obliteration from the Blastpoint Update. Tactical Obliteration focuses on chaotic fighting with infantry combat, flanking, coordinated attacks, and M-COM counterplay.

The final phase of season 3 will also bring us the Wet Work Event, a new contract-focused experience across Multiplayer and REDSEC. Players can take Contracts dropped by eliminated enemies and complete mid-match objectives, such as looting Chests.
