The latest Title Update for Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced is now live, and one particular patch note has everyone talking for the right reasons.

If you've been sailing around as Captain Edward Kenway, the chances are you would have encountered a lonely pooch stranded on one of the many isolated islands across the Caribbean. Previously, the game only allowed you to pet the dog, with no way of finding it a new home.

Thankfully, faith in humanity has been restored, and Ubisoft has come to the rescue to save our four-legged friend!

How to Rescue the Stranded Dog in Black Flag Resynced

Title Update 1.0.7 has fixed the biggest crime in AC Black Flag Resynced: being unable to rescue the stranded dog.

Players were left both heartbroken and outraged when they learned that there was no way of getting the pooch off the island, giving them no choice but to leave it by itself as they continued on with their adventure.

That is, until now. Ubisoft has addressed the disastrous situation by allowing players to rescue the dog, and even better, it will move into Edward's hideout in Grand Inagua!

  • Go to this location: 624,50
  • Pet the dog & return to Edward's Manor
  • You will then find the dog in the bedroom alongside a letter explaining how it was rescued
  • You will also receive 5 bones as a reward

Teasing the highly requested change on social media, Ubisoft posted: "Remember that stranded dog everyone was worried about? Let's just say the latest Title Update (1.0.7) may have changed his fortunes."
