Just a day before the next Take-Two earnings call, Rockstar has come out of the shadows once again to announce a new special titled GTA 6: An Extended Look.
Although the studio didn't reveal what it will show, the special is scheduled to release on Thursday, August 27, at 3:00 PM ET (8:00 PM BST) exclusively on Netflix. Six hours later, the special will go live on both Rockstar Games' YouTube channel and website.

Diving into a bit of our predictions, we can expect this extended look to last more than 15 minutes, since it's premiering on the streaming giant. In other words, this should be more than just a trailer, but rather a small showcase where we will get a better look at gameplay and probably other things, like behind-the-scenes footage.
A recent rumor hinted that the game's third trailer was ready to be released, so we wouldn't be surprised if this trailer is included in the extended look, likely as an introduction, before we see some developer commentary over additional footage.
This special could finally kick-start the game's marketing campaign, which was described as "astonishing" by Strauss Zelnick (Take-Two's CEO) back in February of this year.
GTA 6 is scheduled to release on Thursday, November 19, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. A PC hasn't been announced at the time of writing, and based on Rockstar's track record, players will likely have to wait until after the initial console release to know anything about a PC port.
