Xbox March Update Introduces More In-Game Benefits for F2P Titles

Xbox Game Pass has always been an excellent subscription as it provides a wide variety of games to enjoy by yourself or with friends. Also, there are in-game benefits if you connect your Xbox account to some free-to-play titles!

Players who subscribed to PC Game Pass before and play games like Valorant and League of Legends already get benefits such as access to all the Agents and Champions, despite not owning them. However, the recent March Update of Xbox detailed that there would be more benefits when you have the Game Pass.

Starting this week, players will get more value from their Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscriptions. Members can claim items such as cosmetics, characters, in-game currency, and other benefits for more games. New additions include Heroes of the Storm, Naraka: Bladepoint, Smite 2, and The Finals.

See the available benefits for each of these games below:

  • Heroes of the Storm (PC): Play and unlock 30 Heroes in Blizzard Entertainment’s universe.
  • Naraka: Bladepoint (PC, Console, Cloud): Unlock all heroes, get exclusive Xbox headgear, and the Phoenix Princess Pack (Justina Gu).
  • Smite 2 (PC and Console): Unlock the exclusive High-Velocity Hecate Skin, 5 gods (Ares, Anhur, Hecate, Hercules, and Nemesis), the OP Title, and GG emote with the Smite 2 Welcome Pack.
  • The Finals (PC and Xbox Series X|S): Unlock the Stryker Grid Set (sponsored by Ivada), which features a full outfit, three weapon skins, a charm, and a 25% boost to match XP. Unlocks 500 Multibucks when claiming the prize.

Players will continue to enjoy benefits for games that were already included in the past. This applies to Genshin Impact, unlocking a tactician and skin, characters, card sets, and some XP boost in popular Riot Games titles (Teamfight Tactics, Valorant, League of Legends, and Legends of Runeterra), in addition to Blizzard Entertainment's Overwatch 2.

And that’s not all. Starting in April 2025, Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass will offer benefits for more titles, such as Asphalt Legends Unite, Call of Duty: Warzone, Enlisted, and War Thunder.

Players who subscribed can easily view their benefits by navigating to the Game Pass tab, pressing “More Benefits,” or looking at a participating game’s page.

Now is a good time to get Game Pass, especially if you’re constantly playing the games mentioned!
