- Quick Answer: Wardogs Season 2 introduces new weapons, vehicles, buildables, a rainy weather preset, and the Wager Vendor.
Wardogs was released in early access just around a month ago, and Season 2 is now around the corner. To hype up its release, Bulkhead, the studio behind the title, has announced most of the major additions coming to the game.
For starters, the season will introduce the following four new weapons:

- TCX Spear (Assault Rifle)
- M14 (DMR)
- PP-19 Bizon (SMG)
- Evo-3 Ultra (LMG)
Although the patch notes haven't been revealed, we expect multiple adjustments coming to the other weapons to make room for the new options.
Only one new throwable is being added, which is the iconic Molotov Cocktail, simply titled Molotov in the game. The incendiary can be thrown overarm or underarm and splashes fire on impact.
The following four new vehicles are also coming to the game:
- Wolf-110 - A fast, light wheeled transport.
- Wolf-110 (Assault) - The Wolf-110 with a ring-mounted M2 Browning.
- T-72 - A main battle tank. Slower than the Leopard, but cheaper and far more fuel-efficient.
- Flakpanzer Gepard - Anti-air vehicle.
Three new buildables are coming, and one in particular has been specifically designed to benefit players under a new weather preset. These are the upcoming buildables:
- MG Nest - A manned M2 Browning emplacement.
- Large Shelter - A large metal shelter for covering key assets or keeping the rain off.
- Wooden Step - A step. Made of wood.
As showcased in the trailer, rainy weather is coming as a new weather preset. The water will interact with the environment, including damaged structures, and there could also be thunderstorms.
Thunder will be synchronized across the server, and players can use its sound to mask footsteps, paving the way for tactical approaches.
Lastly, the season will introduce the Wager Vendor, a new experimental feature that will let players place bets on themselves. Anyone who wants to use it will have to select an objective, limit the maximum number of deaths they can have before completing it, set a stake, and try to profit.
Players with a wager will see a live tracker above the minimap to help them keep track of their progress. This feature will be optional, and players can get it using the cash system already built into the game.
