Season 2026 Act 5 of Valorant is just around the corner, which means new content is on the way. Given the lack of teasers or major hints, we are not expecting a new agent or a new map this time.
However, that doesn't mean the new act won't bring anything new. While we wait for the update to arrive, here is everything we expect out of Act 5.
When Does Valorant Season 2026 Act 5 Start?
Season 2026 Act 5 of Valorant is scheduled to start on Wednesday, August 19, for all platforms. Before that, patch 14.00 will roll out across the different regions to add the respective new content.
The new act is expected to last eight weeks, just like the previous ones, with a new patch arriving every two weeks.
New Mode
If we go back to the roadmap released a couple of months ago, a new experimental mode is scheduled to arrive in this act. However, given that All Random One Site didn't arrive with patch 13.02 due to a delay, we could see this mode finally launch here.
The mode will lock each team to one agent of their choosing, and all maps will only have one bombsite, making engagements more direct and interesting with the spamming of the same abilities.

- A new bundle will arrive in the shop shortly after the act begins.
- According to leaker AkamaruVal, Breeze will be replaced in the competitive map pool with Abyss. Icebox won't be returning despite recent rumors.
