Act 2 is coming to a close, which means Season 2026 Act 3 is the next big thing for Valorant players. Now that Riot has shared a few details from the new act, along with some of the recent leaks, we have a good idea of what's coming this time.

When Does Valorant Season 2026 Act 3 Start?
Season 2026 Act 3 of Valorant is scheduled to release on Wednesday, April 29, or Thursday, April 30, depending on your region. Patch 12.08 will add the new content to the files and will be released a day early.
According to leaker Valohabercisi on X, the new act will last 55 days, just around the same time as Act 2. Given the additions expected for this act, it would seem that Riot might be preparing a bigger act afterwards, bringing more content to the game, hence the short Act 3.
New Bundle: Kuronami 2.0

New Mode: Skirmish Ascension
This Act will introduce a new variation of the Skirmish mode titled Skirmish: Ascension. This mode will have a limited pool of agents, each with only selected abilities available, and will launch with its own experimental ranked ladder.
The mode will have two queues: 1v1 and 2v2, and the gun distribution will be similar to the mode Knockout introduced at the start of Season 2026 Act 2.
