After many teasers and some leaks, Miks has been revealed as the next playable character coming to Valorant. He is set to become the 30th agent, and his reveal took place before the finals at VCT Masters Santiago.

When Does Miks Come Out In Valorant?
Miks is scheduled to go live in Valorant on Tuesday, March 17, or Wednesday, March 18, depending on your region. The agent will be added once patch 12.05 is out, before Season 2026 Act 2 starts.
The update's rollout will begin on Tuesday at 6:00 AM PT for North America, LATAM, and Brazil servers. The rollout for European servers will begin on Wednesday at 4:00 AM GMT.

Miks' Role and Nationality
As hinted in the VCT Masters Santiago cinematic trailer, Miks comes from Croatia, making him the first character from the European country in the game. Regarding his role, he will join the fray as a new Controller, becoming the seventh character in this group.
Miks' Abilities
Miks has a kit focused on boosting allies and keeping enemies at bay with crowd-control abilities. Of course, thanks to his role, he also has smokes, which work similarly to how Astra's smokes do.
These are all of his abilities, alongside a short description for each one and a video showcasing them in-game:
- Harmonize (Q): Target an ally and use [Primary Fire] to activate a combat stim on yourself and the ally that refreshes with each kill. [Alt Fire] to grant the combat stim to yourself.
- M-Pulse (C): [Alt Fire] to switch between concuss and healing outputs. [Fire] to throw the device. Upon landing, M-Pulse sends out sound waves, either Concussing or Healing players.
- Waveform (E): A map targeter comes up when equipping it. [Fire] to set locations. [Alt-Fire] to spawn Smokes at selected locations.
- Ultimate: Bassquake (X): [Fire] to build up and unleash Sonic Radiance forward, knocking back, Deafening, and Slowing players.
Once the new agent is available, players can unlock him using Kingdom Credits, which are earned simply by playing, or Valorant Points, the currency that can be purchased with real money.
