  • Quick Answer: The next map pool for Competitive playlist in Valorant has leaked, and it's coming with Season 2026 Act 2.

With Season 2026 Act 2 coming soon to Valorant, a brand-new map pool will go live for the Competitive playlist, bringing back two maps with a few reworks.

For the game's Competitive playlists, Riot selects a handful of maps to include in the pool and leaves a few out. With this system, developers can work on inactive maps, whether to fix an issue, add new stuff, or modify their layout.

We have gathered all the information there is to know about the Competitive map pool for those who are not up to date, or if you want to know what changes are coming.

What is the Valorant map pool?

The game features two separate map pools, one for Competitive, Deathmatch, and Premier queues, and another for the remaining game modes. Here is how the map pools are organized after patch 10.11:

Unrated, Swift Play, Spike Rush, and Escalation map pool

All maps are available when queueing up for the casual game modes. This change was implemented after the arrival of patch 8.11, switching things up and allowing players to enjoy every map the game has to offer.

Competitive, Deathmatch, and Premier map pool

The competitive playlists still feature a restricted map pool, and here is the complete list of maps available on all platforms:

  • Corrode
  • Haven
  • Pearl
  • Split

The latest change was implemented at the start of Season 2026 Act 1, with Breeze back into the rotation after receiving a facelift and Sunset rotating out.

This map pool won't stay like this for long, as reporter AkamaruVal recently leaked that both Lotus and Fracture will join back into the map pool at the start of Season 2026 Act 2. To make room for these maps, Abyss and Corrode will be removed.

We will update this article whenever changes are announced or go live in the game to reflect the correct map set.
