- Quick Answer: This article covers the surprise announcement of Thresh and Senna joining the 2XKO roster on June 9th, confirming the game's ongoing development.
2XKO is alive and well. Riot Games just surprised players by announcing that, on top of Senna, Thresh would also be released this June 9.
The early signs of a seemingly impending demise occurred shortly after release this past January, when Riot Games cut the 2XKO team in half. A few weeks later, it was revealed that the game would get six instead of five DLC characters this year.

Whether that's because they're fast tacking whatever content they had down the pipeline to end support early, or an attempt to rekindle interest in 2XKO, remains to be seen.
In any case, Thresh looks incredible; people were clamoring for a bit more variety in terms of character designs in 2XKO, and Riot looks to have added just that. He looks to be a powerful setplay character using his lamp. Check out the gameplay trailer below.
As a reminder, both Thresh and Senna will join 2XKO's roster this upcoming June 9.
Personally, can't wait to try them out as I've been having a ton of fun with the game whenever I have time to cram in a few sessions here and there.
