T1 have announced the signing of Tyson "TenZ" Ngo as the new influencer of the South Korean esports giant. TenZ is primarily known as a former professional Valorant player. During his career, the Canadian player competed for Cloud9 and Sentinels. He competed in multiple international competitions, including two Valorant Champions editions.

His biggest accomplishment as a professional player came in March 2024 when TenZ became an international champion after winning the VCT Masters Madrid as a Sentinels player.

Although he could have continued playing as a professional, TenZ decided to retire in September 2024. Since then, the Canadian has kept in touch with the Valorant community as a content creator. From his retirement date until January 2025, TenZ had been a content creator for Sentinels. However, after over a year of content creation outside of an esports organization, TenZ has now joined T1.

For those unaware, T1 is one of the biggest brands in the esports industry. Mainly known for their success in League of Legends, T1 have also found success in Valorant as they won the VCT Masters Bangkok in March 2025. Although the team has taken part in other international events since then, nothing comes close to their win in Thailand last year.

TenZ joining T1 makes the South Korean esports powerhouse even bigger especially in Valorant, as they will likely increase their reach in Riot Games' shooter.
