Lithium can be found near Tadpole Pens, which is 300 meters from the Lifepod. You'll naturally come across this area during the main story.

Lithium can be found near extreme sources of heat, so you'll need the Angle Comb to safely explore. You'll also need the Sonic Resonator, since lithium is a mineral that comes out in large chunks.

It helps to have a Tadpole Vehicle to explore the Tadpole Pens, as lithium deposits can be found even in the depths of the area. However, take note that Tadpole Vehicles can only last 250 meters before imploding.

As mentioned, lithium is found near the Tadpole Pens and anywhere where the water temperature rises. The best area to find lithium deposits is around 600 meters southeast of Ruby's Blackbox, in an entrance to a large cave. You'll pass by this area while looking for Zip's Blackbox.
