Star Fox on the Switch 2 will feature eight-player online battles. It's a 4v4 team-based mode featuring Team Star Fox vs Team Star Wolf. You can play on three different maps: Corneria, Fichina, and Sector Y. Each map has different objectives.

Online play also allows you to use the Switch 2's GameChat and compatible characters to apply AR filters and transform into Fox, Falco, Slippy, or Peppy. These ARs sync their lip movements and expressions to the player's face in real-time.
