After years of waiting, fans finally got their hands on Shin Megami Tensei V on the Switch last November, and it was worth the wait. While Atlus' latest JRPG was warmly received by fans and critics alike, the publisher's now confirmed that it sold sold fairly well, thanking fans for their continued support.

According to Famitsu (translated by Persona Central), Atlus revealed that Shin Megami Tensei V sales had reached 800,000 worldwide. To celebrate, they released an image of series mascot Jack Frost and tiger demon Byakko, since 2022 is the year of the tiger.

Shin Megami Tensei V was Atlus' first major exclusive for the Switch, though the company has previously ported older titles like Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne and Catherine. Fans can get Shin Megami Tensei V on the Switch now, with Persona 4 Arena Ultimax coming to the system - alongside PS4 and PC - on March 17.
