Bleach Fans Might Not Have to Wait Long for the Next Game

Only months after Bleach: Rebirth of Souls came out, another Bleach game might already be in the works.

A new trademark shows Bleach: Mirrors High is coming, keeping the franchise going strong in 2025.

Official word hasn’t come yet, but the trademark gives fans plenty to speculate about and look forward to. 

Is This Trademark Proof of An Upcoming Bleach Game?

Shueisha filed the trademark on July 23, 2025, in the European Union under Nice classes 9 and 41, which cover digital games and downloadable software.

The same classifications were applied to Rebirth of Souls, which was released on console and PC. This makes fans believe Mirrors High is another digital game, though it might be for mobile too.

Since Class 28 isn’t listed, which typically covers arcade or toy hardware, this is unlikely to be a pachinko or arcade release. 

Could This Be a Different Genre for Bleach?

Naturally, the filing didn’t include gameplay details or a publisher listing, but that hasn’t stopped longtime fans from trying to figure out what Mirrors High might be.

The name itself has sparked plenty of theories. Some speculate it might be a school-themed RPG, reminiscent of titles like Persona, due to the “High” in the title.

Others think “Mirrors” could point to a storyline involving alternate realities, doppelgängers, or “what if” timelines that could open the door to an original Soul Society-focused story.

Could This Break the Pattern of Past Bleach Games?

This would mark a welcome shift for fans who feel the 3D fighting format is becoming repetitive.

Rebirth of Souls and other Bleach games have mostly stuck with arena fighting. Players are hoping for a version that focuses more on narrative or tactics, possibly in a turn-based format.

There is concern that Mirrors High might turn out to be another mobile gacha title, similar to Bleach: Brave Souls and Bleach: Soul Resonance.

Brave Souls remains popular and reportedly made over $400,000 in revenue in June 2025.

How Soon Can We Expect It to Release?

If the development timeline matches that of Rebirth of Souls, it may still be a year or two before Mirrors High officially sees the light of day.

Since only seven months passed between Rebirth of Souls and the latest trademark, fans believe the next game could be more advanced than expected.

If so, the reveal might not be far off—especially with events like Tokyo Game Show and Jump Festa around the corner. In short, Bleach fans aren’t being left to wait in silence anymore.
