The patch notes for Monster Hunter Wilds Ver. 1.042 have been revealed, with the update going live on August 4.

This update will make all 26 Event Quests playable offline. Additionally, the limited-time event "Just What the Doctor Ordered" is now a permanent quest and can be played offline.

Players will also be able to transfer save data from a new Prologue Demo to the full version of the game once it becomes available on August 5. To transfer your Prologue Demo save data, launch the game while no full-version save data exists.
