For the past few weeks, the rumors about Halo making its way to PlayStation have been sounding more and more real, especially after players got a first taste of it through the Helldivers 2 and Halo ODST crossover.
While we didn’t get our beloved Master Chief, we did get a promising sign that Sony and Xbox’s partnership is going smoothly. On the other hand, this feels like the perfect time for Xbox to get PlayStation’s award-winning action-adventure series: Naughty Dog’s Uncharted.

The Uncharted series has been near and dear to PlayStation fans since its first entry, Drake’s Fortune, released back in 2007. It was one of the pioneering games that ushered in a new age of gaming where cinematic flair and blockbuster set pieces became a major hook. After Uncharted 4 and its standalone expansion, The Lost Legacy, the series has been left in a dormant state by Naughty Dog as they shift their focus to their next project, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, a science-fiction game.
So what happens now? Xbox players have been itching to get their hands on an Uncharted game for what feels like forever. Many often ask the community for alternatives that capture that same “Uncharted-like” feel on Game Pass, such as Crystal Dynamics’ Tomb Raider series, A Plague Tale, or even Indiana Jones. The catch is that all of these are also available on PlayStation. Now would be the perfect moment for Xbox and Sony to strike a deal and finally bring Nathan Drake’s adventures to Xbox consoles.

We're yet to see a PlayStation-exclusive title land on Xbox, and while Xbox has been generous in sharing its franchises like Forza Horizon, Hellblade 2: Senua’s Saga, and potentially even Starfield with PlayStation players, Sony has remained quiet about which, if any, of its games will appear on the Series X and S.
There is still plenty of hope that Uncharted could eventually make its way to Xbox, but it will take a lot of legal hurdles and negotiations to make it happen. Even so, the signs are there that something tangible could be in the works for the future.
So come on, Sony. Give Xbox all the Uncharted games!
