How To Get the Necrofluid Gauntlet in Black Ops 7 Zombies

The Necrofluid Gauntlet is the headline Wonder Weapon of Ashes of the Damned, and unlike the Ray Gun or Mark II, you don’t roll the dice with the Mystery Box to get it.

This one is built through a multi-step quest spread across the entire map.

You’ll be dealing with power stations, a rescued ally, an Aether scan, and a rune puzzle before you finally claim it.

Even though it sounds long, every part ties together cleanly once you know the route.

How Do You Activate All Power Pumps?

The first step is getting all the Power Pumps running across Ashwood, Blackwater Lake, and Vandorn Farm.

To even get started, you need access to Ol’ Tessie, which means opening the Server Room in Janus Towers Plaza and grabbing T.E.D.D.’s head from the grate inside.

Once you attach it to the vehicle, Tessie can finally be driven into the outer areas. Both Blackwater Lake and Vandorn Farm have Power Pumps covered in orange Aether growths.

Shoot every bulb attached to the machinery and then flip the power switch inside the nearby structure, which is the Cabin at Blackwater and the Barn at Vandorn.

After those are online, follow the main road deeper into Ashwood and take the zipline up to the bridge.

The third Power Pump in that area works the same way. Getting the Ashwood pump online also unlocks something useful, since Ol’ Tessie will be able to Pack-a-Punch afterward.

How Do You Free Klaus in Ashwood?

With all three pumps activated, stay in Ashwood and head into Market Square, where the Sheriff’s Office sits beside the Vulture Aid machine.

Inside the locked room, Klaus is slumped in a chair. You’ll need to take a quick detour by heading back to Janus Towers Plaza and following the path toward Blackwater Lake.

As you walk by a shipping crate, an Uber Klaus smashes its way out and goes after you.

Think of this as a real miniboss encounter, so come in with armor, a dependable weapon, and an Ammo Mod if you have one.

When Uber Klaus dies, he drops a Stabilizer Chip. Bring the chip back to Ashwood, insert it into the device in Klaus’ cell, and wait for the update to finish.

After that, you need to throw three or four Stun Grenades into his cell (you can craft them at any workbench).

Once they connect cleanly, Klaus wakes up and becomes a fully controllable support ally.

Where Do You Complete the Aether Scan?

From Ashwood, head southeast to Zarya Cosmodrome for the following objective.

Inside the facility, head down the staircase across from the Wisp Tea perk to reach the Support Systems room.

You’ll find a locked canister on the wall with a terminal next to it. Point Klaus toward the console so he can activate it and light up the button you need.

This triggers a timed Aether Scan, creating a red circle beneath the camera that you have to stand in while looking up at the red light until the bar completes.

Stepping out or getting hit pauses progress, and Aether Shroud doesn’t help here, so be ready to juggle zombies using Monkeys, Decoys, or high-DPS guns.

When the scan completes, the canister opens and reveals the Aether Barrel.

How Do You Charge the Aether Barrel?

The Aether Barrel needs to be charged at the same three Power Pump stations you turned on earlier.

The clearest progression is Ashwood, then Blackwater Lake, then Vandorn Farm. Take the barrel to the center slot of the Ashwood Pump and wait for it to fill.

When the bar finishes, pick it up immediately and drive to Blackwater Lake, then do the same again at Vandorn Farm.

Once the third pump completes its refining cycle, bring the charged barrel to the Vandorn Farm cellar in the Barn and slot it into the strange cube waiting there.

Where Do You Find the Rune Symbols?

When the barrel settles inside the cube, the device reveals three interactable faces.

To solve the puzzle, go back to Janus Towers Plaza and launch yourself using the Jump Pad pointed toward Vandorn Farm.

When you sweep over the rooftops, you’ll see three red runes glowing on the Barn roof, the House, and the Silo.

These symbols are random for each match, so you’ll want to pay attention (or take a quick screenshot).

Land back at the farm, return to the cellar, and rotate each face of the cube until all three runes match the ones you saw from the air.

There’s no strict sequence because each side rotates through different symbols.

How Do You Claim the Necrofluid Gauntlet?

With the symbols aligned, the cube reveals an eye panel on its backside.

Interacting with it finally grants you the Necrofluid Gauntlet, but the room immediately locks down.

A green circle surrounds the cube, purple-eyed zombies rush in, and several green orbs appear around the cellar.

To complete the final step, fire a Gauntlet spike at each orb, then use the recall ability (reload button) to pull the spike back through it.

Repeat this until all the orbs shatter. When the last one breaks, the lockdown ends, and the Gauntlet becomes yours permanently for the match.

Once it’s on your arm, the Necrofluid Gauntlet gives you three attacks to work with: the ranged Spike Shot, the returning Spike Recall, and a heavy but slower Claw Attack.

The spike ability is what makes it special, as calling it back deals solid piercing damage and gives you enough overheal to push past your normal health cap.

The Gauntlet can pull items closer to you as well, which comes in handy when things get intense or space gets tight.

Just like the other Wonder Weapons, it can be pushed all the way to Tier 3 at Ol’ Tessie, giving it even more end-game strength.
