How to Find Mimikyu in Pokemon Pokopia
To find Mimikyu, you'll need to make the Pikachu Corner Habitat. Lucky for you, Mimikyu is the only Pokemon to be attracted to this habitat, meaning once it's built, it's guaranteed they'll spawn.
Both the Pikachu Sofa and the Pikachu Doll can be purchased using the PC in the Pokemon Center. You'll need to wait for those items to be unlocked on your PC to be able to purchase them. If you're in a rush to get Mimikyu, you can try finding both of these items in the overworld.
A Pikachu Doll can be found inside an abandoned house in the southern part of Bleak Beach. The area is surrounded by water, so make sure to transform into Lapras to get to the area safely.
A Pikachu Sofa can be found inside the ruins of the S.S. Anne, also located in Bleak Beach. To reach the ship, you need to transform into Lapras. The Pikachu Sofa is located in one of the higher levels, where the steering wheel is located. If you've found the steering wheel, look for a ladder above two bookcases. Place a block and jump on top of the bookcases. This will allow you to climb the ladder and retrieve the Sofa.

Once you have both items, simply set them side-by-side. You can either wait for around 30 minutes to an hour or time-travel. Soon, Mimikyu will appear in your environment.
Mimikyu Has Heartbreaking Dialogue in Pokopia
OG Pokemon fans know Mimikyu's heartbreaking lore.
They are an extremely lonely Pokemon that wears a homemade, tattered Pikachu costume to disguise its true form. The Pokemon have often spoken about how "terrifying" and "horrible" they look. Since its true form is said to cause illness and death to those who look at them, they wear a Pikachu costume in the hopes of receiving the same amount of love and attention Pikachu gets.
They just want love - and that's the same in Pokopia. When you first speak to Mimikyu after they've spawned in the habitat, they immediately tell you they aren't scared at all and pretend to act like an adorable Pikachu. During a dialogue with Magenton, the robot Pokemon quickly deduces that Mimikyu's form is not its real form and expresses its desire to see the real Mimikyu. Mimikyu once again talks about how scared people get and how they fall ill looking at them, but Magneton states they'll be fine. Mimikyu then reveals that one day, maybe they will be brave enough to take off their rag.
