There are approximately 300 Pokemon in Pokopia, and if you're a completionist who wants to make sure you discover every single one, then you can't miss out on getting Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres.
But finding them isn't as easy as it sounds. Here's how to get the members of the Legendary Bird Trio.
How to Find Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres in Pokemon Pokopia
To find Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres, you'll need to get three different blueprints in Palette Town: the Freezing Chambers, Abandoned Power Plant, and the Altar of Flame.
If you're simply fulfilling the storyline, you might have missed unlocking Palette Town. It can be found in Withered Wasteland. Using Rock Smash, break the wall to the left of the Pokemon Center and head towards the beach.

Turn to the left, and you'll come across a broken bridge. Fix it, and you'll be able to cross over to Palette Town. There are three different islands, with each containing a blueprint. The Freezing Chamber is located on the smallest island, the Abandoned Power Plant is on the southern island, and the Altar of Flame is on the northern island.
Once you have obtained each kit, you'll need to build each structure. Now, this isn't as simple as building a habit. You'll need to clear out massive land space, so it's important to have the abilities Rock Smash, Rollout, and Magnet Rise. It also helps to have Hamburger Steaks, which power up your Rock Smash.
How to Find Articuno in Pokemon Pokopia
Articuno will be found in the Freezing Chambers. To get the Freezing Chambers blueprint, you'll need to head to the smallest island in the east. The kit is hidden on top of a set of waterfalls.
Take note, the Freezing Chambers are arguably one of the hardest to build due to how rare one of the materials is - Ice. It can be found hidden behind a set of waterfalls in Palette Town or on Rock Peak Dream Island.

Here are all the items you need to build the Freezing Chambers in Pokemon Pokopia:
- 10 Crystal Fragments
- 10 Pokemetal
- 50 Ice
- 50 Stone
Once you have all the materials necessary, bring the Pokemon you want to construct the building with you to the space you cleared out. It will take 24 hours to complete the Freezing Chambers. When you enter, Articuno will be waiting for you.
How to Find Zapdos in Pokemon Pokopia
Zapdos is located in the Abandoned Power Plant. The blueprint for it will be found on the southern island, on top of a large mountain in the middle of the beach.
This is arguably the easiest of the three to build, as all of the materials are things you get as you naturally progress through the four towns. They are abundant and can be found easily in one of the four towns or in Dream Islands.

Here are all the items you need to build the Abandoned Power Plant in Pokemon Pokopia:
- 10 Pokemetal
- 50 Brick
- 50 Copper Ingot
- 50 Iron Ingot
- 50 Sea Glass Fragment
Copper Ingots and Iron Ingots can be found by mining Copper and Iron Ore in Rocky Ridges. Sea Glass Fragments can be found in Bleak Beach. To get Brick, you'll need to find Squishy Clay and have a Fire-type Pokemon to form them into Bricks.
Just like Articuno, have your required Pokemon build the area and return the next day to meet Zapdos.
How to Find Moltres in Pokemon Pokopia
Moltres will be found at the Altar of Flame. To find the blueprint, head over to the northwestern island. It's located on top of the altar.
Here are all the items you need to build the Altar of Flame in Pokemon Pokopia:
- 10 Pokemetal
- 50 Copper Ingot
- 50 Gold Ingot
- 50 Lava Rock

You already know how to get Copper Ingots. To get Gold Ingots, mine Gold Ore at Rocky Ridges. Lava Rock can also be found in Rocky Ridges. Head to the Volcano and you'll spot fire-streaked blocks. To collect them, eat a Hamburger Steak and use Rock Smash.
What Happens When You Find Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres?
After registering all three Legendary Pokemon in your Pokedex, you will receive a reward for your efforts.
