There are plenty of materials sprawled all around Pokemon Pokopia, but Ice is definitely one of the rarest ones to get your hands on.

To rebuild the post-apocalyptic Kanto region, you must go around different towns to gather materials. With the help of your Pokemon friends and their abilities, you'll be able to build new infrastructure, all while discovering why humans have disappeared from the planet.

Ice is one of those materials you'll need, but it is very rare. It's so hard to get that you might even go the whole game unable to find it. But don't worry - we're here to make sure that doesn't happen.

How to Get Ice in Pokemon Pokopia

Ice can be found in two places in Pokemon Pokopia: Palette Town and Rock Peak Dream Island.

To access Palette Town, use the Rock Smash ability to break the wall near the Pokemon Center in Withered Wasteland. Once you've done so, head out to the beach. You'll come across a cave and a broken bridge pathway. Fix the bridge to get to Palette Town.

Palette Town is considered a sandbox town, where you can play with friends or decorate on your own. On the first island in Palette Town, you'll see a rocky structure. Head towards it, and then go to the right side of the waterfall. Behind the waterfall is a Glow Mushroom.

Walk towards it, and you'll enter a secret area. Follow the path, and you'll enter a room with hundreds of Ice Blocks and Crystals. This is the area with the largest amount of Ice, so feel free to go crazy and break as much as you need.

If you want to find ice on Rock Peak Dream Island, you'll need to have the Clefairy Doll. If you've got it, get Drifloon to bring you to the Dream Island.

Once you arrive, head to the rocky structure in the middle of the island. Start digging, and you'll be able to find some ice. Note that there isn't much ice to get here, so it's better to start at Palette Town and come to Rock Peak Dream Island if you need just a bit more.

What to Use Ice For in Pokemon Pokopia

You'll need Ice to create the Freezing Chambers, especially if you want to find Articuno.

Ice is also necessary for building the Shaved Ice Habitat, which attracts Glaceon. Some Pokemon also prefer lower temperatures, so placing ice in their habitat can help increase their Comfort Levels.
