Crimson Desert is a game where you can literally do it all. You can have a pet, customize your character, and explore the vast, open world. And if you want to fight on the battlefield in style, you can do that by dyeing your armor and clothes.

Here's everything you need to know about dyeing in Crimson Desert.

How to Learn How to Dye Armor in Crimson Desert

To learn how to dye your clothes, you'll need to do the "Naria's Brightening the Spirits" quest chain. As you progress through the quest - establish your camp and upgrade the Greymane camp - Naira will teach you how to dye in the "Gloomy Gray" quest.

You will then have to return to Hernand and look for an alchemy cauldron. Once you've found one, interact with the cauldron and use the ingredients to craft the Bright Red Dye. Open your inventory and interact with the dye to learn the color option, just in case you want to use it again.

Where To Get Dye in Crimson Desert

To get dye, you need to unlock dye recipes. They can be found all over the map and will always require Longhorn Beetles, another kind of beetle, and brightly colored materials. Dyes can only be made with cauldrons.

Now, to use the dyes you get, you'll need to open your inventory and use them to learn it, similar to what you did in the quest. To dye your armor, visit a dyehouse. You can select colors for individual parts of your armor or clothes, as well as different materials for certain parts. That means you can make your armor as shiny or as matte as you like.
