Everything You Missed in the September State of Play
State of Play started with an extended exclusive clip of the upcoming Resident Evil movie. The film will be making its debut worldwide on September 18. Afterward, we were greeted with plenty of news regarding our favorite games.
One of the most noteworthy ones is Crimson Desert. Pearl Abyss finally announced the game's first DLC, Charting the Unknown. The DLC will come out on October 15, 2026.
Some of our much-anticipated games also secured release dates. Until Dawn 2 is slated for a January 28, 2027 release, while Metro 2039 will release on February 4, 2027. Final Fantasy 7 Revelation wrapped up the event with an April 8, 2027 release date.
Additionally, it was announced that limited-edition GTA 6 DualSense Wireless Controllers will be available for pre-order starting September 10.
Several games were announced to be in development, such as Konami's Rhapsody in Secret. Lastly, we got word that new games are coming to the PlayStation Plus Classics Catalog.
