- Quick Answer: GTA 6 leaker CyberLeek announced they are quitting after failing to reach a $30 million crypto coin milestone, ending their illegal gameplay leak scheme.
Since August, CyberLeek has been terrorizing the internet with GTA 6 leaks.
They have shared several clips of GTA 6 gameplay, from NPC interactions to the driving mechanics. Though they temporarily stopped spreading leaks after Take-Two announced legal action in September, CyberLeek ultimately returned to posting never-before-seen gameplay in October.
However, it now seems they're done posting for good. Here's what we know.
CyberLeek Announces Supposed Retirement
After failing to meet its $30 million market cap milestone, CyberLeek has announced that it will no longer release GTA 6 leaks.
Previously, they claimed that if the milestone was reached, they would release a playable build of GTA 6. However, they failed to reach this goal. Instead of doing that, they released a three-part announcement titled "The End of the Road," announcing that they will stop releasing leaks.
Along with quitting, CyberLeek has published their final set of leaks containing end-game spoilers. In their statement, they stated, "The leeks stop here. For now." While he may have quit posting for now, CyberLeek has stated that if Take-Two catches them, they will spoil the ending of the game.
This inevitably means that CyberLeek has run off with the money from their cryptocoin. Since announcing their retirement, the coin has crashed severely.
As of this writing, Rockstar has not commented on CyberLeek's supposed retirement.
