Battlefield 6 2026 Roadmap Revealed
In a move that breaks away from their more traditional reveal of new content, EA and Battlefield Studios have shared a 2026 roadmap for the next three seasons of Battlefield 6.

The roadmap features a variety of new content, such as maps, weapons, and modes, as well as confirmation of Battle Royale Solos and Naval Warfare. Additionally, several priority features like Platoons and Server Browser were also confirmed to be on the way, as were ongoing quality of life improvements.
Check out the full, individual breakdown of the 2026 roadmap below:
Season 3 - Golmud Railway & Grand Bazaar Return
Season 3 will kick off in May with a reimagining of a classic Battlefield 4 map, now called Railway to Golmud, which will become the biggest map in Battlefield 6 yet. Then, later in the season, another legendary map arrives via an updated reimagining of Battlefield 3’s Grand Bazaar, called Cairo Bazaar.
Season 3 also sees the official implementation of BR Solos and the debut of REDSEC’s Ranked Play experience, which will launch in Battle Royale Quads.

In addition to the content above, new weapons, modes, and more will also be introduced throughout Season 3's cycle.
Season 4 - Naval Warfare Makes Waves
Later this summer, Season 4 will launch with the release of Naval Warfare in both Battlefield 6 and REDSEC from May.
Tsuru Reef, a new naval-focused map, will become the biggest warground yet, featuring enormous air and sea spaces, new naval-based vehicles, aircraft carriers with operational flight decks, plus a dynamic wave system that will heighten the intensity of ocean combat.
This season, Battlefield will also return to Wake Island, one of the most celebrated maps in the series’ history.

Once again, new weapons, modes, and more will also be added and accompany Season 3 throughout its cycle.
Season 5 - Three New Maps
Last but not least, Season 5 will close out the year and take players to a new location for the Battlefield franchise, rewarding them with a special early holiday treat of three maps within a single season - the most to drop in a BF6 season so far.
Further details concerning Season 5 remain under wraps for the time being.
Throughout the remainder of 2026, Battlefield Studios will continue to work on a host of quality-of-life updates and combat improvements, working closely with the community to continually enhance the experience on offer.
Upcoming priority features coming this year include leaderboards, a spectator mode, the release of proximity chat, and an eagerly anticipated Server Browser with Persistent Servers, giving players more options to host and play preferred experiences.
Developers have also shared an in-depth look at what's planned for Battlefield 6 in a six-minute roadmap video, which you can watch below.
