“Step into the shoes of a transfer student thrust into an unexpected fate when entering the hour "hidden" between one day and the next. Awaken an incredible power and chase the mysteries of the Dark Hour, fight for your friends, and leave a mark on their memories forever. “
Take note, the demo version does have some differences from the full version based on some specifications; but Atlus does confirm that players can play it repeatedly.
It’s also worth noting that any progress that was made during the demo would also carry over to the full game should you decide to purchase it.
The Legacy of Persona 3
The original Persona 3 game came out back in 2006 and was the fourth entry in the Persona series made for the PS2 generation.
Ever since the popularity of Persona 5 had put the franchise on the map, fans have been asking for a long time for a remake of Persona 3, and Atlus had only started development of Reload back in 2019, making the official announcement in 2023.
As far as the remake goes, a lot of the main story had been kept intact, and the only edits made were with graphical updates and well as some more functional changes.
It’s been a year since the release of Reload, and so far the devs have released one expansion with Episode Aigis. It’s not clear if they have any more planned, but the demo should be a great jumping off point for anyone who is even remotely curious about getting into Persona.
The Persona 3 Reload demo is now available for free for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 4|5.
