- Quick Answer: WWE Generations: Eras Collide is a new 3v3 turn-based mobile RPG developed by Scopely that aims to integrate real-world WWE events with gameplay rewards.
WWE really wants to dominate the mobile market, and they have started rolling out a brand-new one called WWE Generations: Eras Collide. The interesting thing about this is that it’s a 3v3 turn-based RPG featuring your favorite Superstars. The game is being rolled out across regions, so be patient if it’s not available in yours just yet. I haven’t been able to download it myself, but I do know it’ll come to both iOS and Android devices.
Eras Collide is being developed by Scopely, a company that found incredible success with Monopoly GO! and a few other titles, which is acting as both developer and publisher.

The gameplay, from the footage I’ve seen from the content creators who already got access to the game, seems a bit clunky. As mentioned, it is a turn-based RPG that tries some interesting things with its WWE coat of paint. The 3v3 aspect ties well into wrestling, as tag-team wrestling is incredibly popular, each wrestler has a unique moveset and perks to help teammates, adding a neat sense of buildcrafting.
It all seems to crumble under the weight of it simply being developed to serve as a money-hungry free-to-play game that will throttle every feature the game has to offer, that is, unless you pay to surpass the daily match limit and other shenanigans.
The most interesting aspect of the game seems to be that it’ll reward fans for actually tuning into WWE shows with extra rewards, quizzes that grant loot, and real-time drops that happen during PLEs.
