2K has just announced that WWE 2K25 will launch on Nintendo Switch 2 this July 23, giving more players access to one of the most iconic wrestling franchises of all time.
WWE 2K25 on Nintendo Switch 2 will include the full suite of features found in the original release, from every game mode and match type to both offline play and online battles.
Pre‑orders are available now for all three editions: the Standard Edition, the Deadman Edition, and The Bloodline Edition.
Originally released on March 7, 2025, WWE 2K25 was widely regarded as the strongest entry in the series thanks to massive improvements over previous titles, most notably its revamped MyRise and Showcase modes. It also marked WWE 2K’s first venture into a richer online ecosystem with its Island Mode feature. Although some fans found Island Mode underwhelming, many enjoyed it as a fun hub for multiplayer mayhem.
Surprisingly, the Nintendo Switch 2 version will include Island Mode, something that was omitted from old-gen consoles such as PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. This inclusion highlights the Switch 2’s promising hardware capabilities and 2K’s confidence in supporting it from day one.
WWE 2K25 for Nintendo Switch 2 arrives July 23. The Standard Edition is priced at $59.99, the Deadman Edition at $89.99, and The Bloodline Edition at $119.99. Please note that a Nintendo Switch Online subscription is required to access online modes.
