World of Warcraft: Forever is holding a one-day Stress Test, giving players a chance to try the game for free with no subscription, Game Time, or invitation required. It's the perfect time to pack the server with your friends and rally your guild!

When Will the World of Warcraft: Forever Stress Test Launch?

The World of Warcraft: Forever Stress Test will run on October 19. The beta will be taken offline shortly before the Stress Test and will return once the Stress Test is over.

Here is the official release time of the World of Warcraft: Forever Stress Test in different regions:

  • North America: 2:00 PM EDT
  • Europe: 19:00 CEST (7:00 PM)
  • Korea: 6:00 AM KST (October 20)
  • Taiwan: 5:00 PM CST (October 20)

How to Join the World of Warcraft: Forever Stress Test

To join the Stress Test, open the Battle.net desktop app and make sure the launcher is up to date. Once it's open, select World of Warcraft from the list of games. In the Game Version menu, select World of Warcraft: Stress Test under In Development.

This will let you install the game. Once installation is complete, select Play and select a test realm. Afterward, you'll be able to create a new character, enter the game, and join the test. Make sure your graphics drivers are up to date to ensure smooth gaming.

Take note that at the end of the Stress Test, all the characters you made, your names, and guilds will be wiped from the servers in preparation for the Name Reservations opening on October 27.
